After listening to this episode I realize that cookie deprecation will have a greater impact on me as a consumer more than as an SMB. Almost every website I visit now asks me to acknowledge or confirm my privacy options. Tessa mentions the importance of trust signals and this extra layer of permission definitely has that psychological effect on me.
